Enttäuschende Wirtschaftszahlen
aus den USA sorgten gestern nachmittag für eine 100 Punkte Rally in EURUSD und wecken Hoffnung, daß wir mit dem gestrigen Jahrestief bei 1.3880 die Trendumkehr gesehen haben. Enttäuscht vom höher als erwartet ausgefallenen Handelsbilanzdefizit (-62.2B statt -58.0B) und einer höheren Arbeitslosenquote (+445.000 statt +440.000) gab der Dollar ab und EURUSD eroberte die Marke von 1.4000 zurück.
Auch charttechnisch könnte sich mit der gestrigen daily-Candle ein positives Bild entwickelt haben. Also ab jetzt wieder aufwärts mit EURUSD?
Leider ist Börse und FOREX kein Wunschkonzert und so sind durchaus Zweifel angebracht, ob der derzeitige Anstieg nicht nur ein Strohfeuer ist, bevor sich der begonnenen Abwärtstrend weiter fortsetzt. Für eine Trendumkehr fehlt mir neben dem Sentimentwechsel der amerikanischen Währungsanalysten auch der Positionsabbau der Dollar-Spekulanten auf der Long-Seite. Seit letzter Woche steht der COT Index für den Dollar bei 100, zwar ein untrügliche Zeichen für einen bevorstehenden Trendwechsel, aber auch nicht mehr als an Anzeichen.
Abwarten ist weiterhin angesagt, eventuell ergibt sich aber heute eine Shortchance am Widerstand und Pivot bei 14075/70 .
Zahl des Tages: Laut gestriger US-Import-Statist sind die Preise für Lebensmittel auf Jahresbasis um 15.9% gestiegen. Der höchste jährliche Anstieg seit Erstveröffentlichung in 1977!
