Man muss kein Prophet sein
um festzustellen, daß die Unsicherheit in den Aktien-, Devisen- und Rohstoffmärkten weiter anhalten wird. Die Angst vor dem morgigen Abstimmungsverhalten des US-Kongresses paralysiert die Märkte.
EURUSD mussten gestern deutlich abgeben, wurde doch nach der Veröffentlichung der EU-Inflationsratenschätzung erneut auf eine Zinssenkung der EZB in ihrer Donnerstagssitzung gesetzt.
Ob oder ob nicht, die Marktteilnehmer gingen auf die sichere Seite und verkauften den Euro. Auch die exorbitanten Zinssätze für Übernachtanlagen in USD, gestern im 7-Jahres-Hoch bei 6.875%, machen Long-Positionen in EURUSD teuer (Stichwort: Rollover-Kosten) .
Charttechnisch ist im Währungspaar EURUSD auf allen Zeitebenen keine Umkehr des Abwärtstrends erkennbar. Ich rechne fest mit dem Test des Septembertiefs bei 1.3883, bevor die Chance auf eine grössere Aufwärtsbewegung besteht. Ob diese dann korrektiv sein wird oder nachhaltig, hängt von den äusseren Umständen ab. Wer schaut einem amerikanischen Kongressabgeordneten schon hinter die Stirn??
